This event will be timed using D-Tag.  D-Tag is a disposable timing tag that must be affixed properly to your shoe.  No timing tag = no time.

The race starts and finishes on George Mason University near the George Mason Arts Center near the corner of Mason Pond Drive and Patriot Circle. If you are arriving after 7:00pm, please enter George Mason University/Parking Lot K from Braddock Road at Roanoke Road.  Entrance to Lot K will be to your right.

Free parking is available in parking lot K. Do not park in other lots.

Weather and Safety Policy

In the event of extreme weather conditions, the race organizers, as advised by George Mason Police and Fire/EMS Departments, reserve the right to cancel the race or run it as an untimed "Fun Run" without advance notice.

If this should be necessary:

• Participants will receive premiums (in accordance with registration policies)
• Prizes will be converted to random prizes
• No entry-fee refunds will be made

The final decision regarding the conduct of the race will be made between 6:30pm and 7:15pm the evening of the race and will be announced over the race public address system. Follow runpacers on Twitter for all race related updates - click here

Road Closures

Access to Patriot Circle will be limited after 7:00pm. If running late, please only access the race start/finish from Braddock Road at Roanoke River Road. Use Lot K.

Frequently Asked Questions

May I pick up a packet for friends or family?
Yes, you may pick up a packet for someone else. Please just alert them that you will be picking up their packet.

May I register during packet pick up?
Yes, you can as space permits. We accept check, cash, and credit card. Please note that on race evening, we only accept checks and cash.

Can I transfer my registration to another Pacers Event?
No. You may not request a transfer from one Pacers event to another Pacers event for any reason.

May I wear headphones during the run?
Yes, however, you are responsible for being aware of your surroundings.

May I run with a stroller?
Runners with strollers are responsible for maintaining control of their stroller and must be considerate of others around them. Please start in the back.

May I run with my dog?
Pets are not allowed in the 5K, but gentle ones are welcome to watch.

Will there be a water stop?
Yes.

What is your refund policy?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds for this event. We also do not accept transfers or deferments for this event.

Is there a baggage drop?
Yes

Is there a time cutoff for the event?
You must be able to finish the 5K course within 60:00. Any participants not completing (or on pace to completing) the event under that time will be placed on the sidewalk.
